The Alampur Jogulamba temple, a wondrous architectural marvel with its surrounding Nallamala hills, dates back to the 6th century. Distinguished as the Shakti of Bala Brahmeswara Swamy and also known as Gruha Chandi, Goddess Alampur Jogulamba is situated in a sitting posture adorned by Lizard, Skull, Bat and Scorpion during Puja Aarti. Unfortunately this ancient Hindu site was destroyed due to Muslim invasions in 14th century until recently it was reconstructed and renovated in 2005; thus restoring its regal glory for all to behold!
